Wanted to stop in and share some exciting news: I RESIGNED!
Done and done.
My last day of work will be July 4th--a true day of independence!
I'd be a liar if I didn't admit to being a little nervous about resigning. However, the very day I turned in my paperwork a dear friend gave this verse to me: "One handful of peaceful repose/Is better than two fistfuls of worried work . . ." (The Message, Ecclesiastes 4.6). So very fitting.
Not quite sure what's coming next, but I've got a few dreams in the works. We shall see what happens. I think I'll be happy as long as it involves having a life again. Yay!
