Consider yourself lucky that I'm allowing you to see my classic "Lewis & Clarke" pose.
The Traverine Curtain is the dramatic gateway to Wadi Darbat. Caitlin and I had an incredible time hiking and scrambling along the rocks at the bottom of the 330 foot petrified waterfall. We also made a quick stop at the top to look out towards the sea and Khawr Ruri. (Now Khawr Ruri is only an estuary, but it was once one of the busiest ports in the region and home to the famous Queen of Sheba.)
Approaching the Travertine Curtain.
Caitlin by a giant pool at the base of the falls.
The pastures below are fluorescent green and polka dotted with brown, black, and white goats.
